LifeNetting
When I stared sailing with my grandchildren I wanted to make the experience fun and safe. Therefore I added life netting this allowed the children to gain their sea legs without being constantly warned about "don't do that" and "don't go there". With freedom to move around the boat they quickly learned when to move and how to move about the boat all in a positive way.
I found that mistakes always happen, but they can be controlled to some extent, and learning from a mistake is the best way to retain the lesson. Life lines have assisted in this.
